Welcome to Pierce Family Chiropractic - Cornelius

Your Cornelius Chiropractor

Who We Are

At Pierce Family Chiropractic, as the name implies, we like to think of ourselves as your friendly neighborhood chiropractor. Health maintenance should be an important concern for all families all year round and not merely when someone gets sick or injured. With our focus on all-natural, holistic health, we consider ourselves and our practice to be an integral component of our patients’ routine health and wellness plan. At Pierce, we welcome all members of the community to come and visit our office to learn more about the wonderful benefits of chiropractic care. We’d love to tell you about the ways it can help to promote a healthy, active lifestyle in an all-natural way. We are passionate about helping our patients to achieve health and healing without drugs or surgical interventions and we also love to educate them on ways to become an active partner in their own good health.

Pierce Family Chiropractic

We have great respect for the body’s innate ability to heal itself and we believe that health care, whenever possible, should be simple and get straight to the point.  Dealing with illnesses and injuries is stressful enough without the added worry of having to pay for expensive medications that may cause harmful side effects. We are thrilled to be able to share and demonstrate our health maintenance philosophy with our patients and to be of service to the community we call home.

What We Do

In a nutshell, we deal with relieving pain, improving body mechanics and achieving health through manual chiropractic adjustments, rather than reliance on medicinal or surgical interventions.  We do understand that there are times when traditional medical intervention may be necessary. In those cases, we are happy to partner with our network of skilled healthcare practitioners which include physicians, physical therapists, nutritionists, massage therapists, and acupuncturists. Our goal is to ensure that you have all of the essential components in place for optimal healing. That being said, traditional medicine is not our automatic, go-to procedure when it comes to creating a treatment plan. We understand that each person is different and we don’t believe there should be a one-size-fits-all approach to healing just because your ailment looks similar to someone else’s. This type treatment is often one of the problems found with traditional medicine.

Essentially, we deal in “whole person” health. In every case, we do thorough health histories, physical exams and we try to look at all aspects of our patients’ lifestyle and emotional wellness before we come up with a diagnosis. As much as possible, we look for underlying conditions that help us to identify integrative, all-natural ways to address the problem instead of simply applying the temporary band-aid of medication. Approaching health in this way leads to far more effective and longer-lasting results.

Our Chiropractors Offer Specialized Care

The chiropractors in our office,Dr. Mark Sloan and Dr. Marcus Pierce, set themselves apart by applying their personal experiences to the chiropractic work that they do. Dr. Pierce suffered a back injury while in high school and after experiencing the wonderfully healing benefits of chiropractic care first hand, he can closely relate to the athletes and highly active individuals that come into the office for treatment.

At Pierce Family Chiropractic, we proudly serve the Mooresville, Sherrillsford, Concord, Huntersville, Charlette, Davidson, Denver, Cornelius and Lake Norman areas. We love our community and we look forward to leaving a legacy of promoting healthy, all-natural, holistic living at every age and stage of life.
